Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of the Kriticky.cz / ThinkCritical.eu learning portal (the "Portal"), operated by FENDR s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 07899653, with its registered office at Nerudova 390, 472 01 Doksy, Česká republika (the "Operator").

The service

The Portal offers online courses, articles, games and quizzes on critical thinking and media literacy. Courses are free of charge after registration. Programmes for companies and institutions are agreed separately under a dedicated contract.

Account

• An account is required to access the courses. By registering, you agree to these terms.
• Please provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You may close your account at any time by emailing mysli@kriticky.cz.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Portal for any unlawful activity, disrupt its operation, circumvent its security, or bulk-download content using automated tools. If you breach these terms, we may restrict or close your account.

Content and copyright

The texts, games, graphics and other content of the Portal are protected by copyright and belong to the Operator or its partners. You may use them freely for your personal learning. Any other distribution, for example in your own courses, requires our consent.

Liability

We prepare the content with care, but it is intended for educational purposes and does not replace professional, legal, financial or medical advice. The Portal is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee its uninterrupted availability. We are liable for damage to the extent provided by law.

How we process personal data is described in the separate Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

We may amend these terms. We will notify you of any material changes in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Consumers may also resolve disputes out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).

Representation outside the Czech Republic and Slovakia

For customers in countries other than the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the operator's partner and representative is Prudentia Capital OÜ, registry code 17367199, Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia (https://prudeca.com).
